A. Dudley Bell, MD, FAAP

Dr. Bell is a third-generation physician who couldn’t resist the call to pediatric medicine, with its unique joys and challenges.  “My calling," he affirms, "is to partner with families and help their children flourish by using knowledge, humor and compassion.  Flourishing, to me, means each child discovering -- and fulfilling -- their God-given potential."

Dr. Bell was raised in the historic Shenandoah Valley town of Staunton, VA, and earned a BA in History from Davidson College. He graduated from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 1993, then completed his Residency in Pediatrics at WFU/NC Baptist Hospital, including a year as Chief Resident. He is married to an amazing woman and has three (equally amazing) daughters. He does have another love – music (playing or listening). He dreams of learning to play every instrument – currently at number 6 and counting!
