Guiding parents and their children through the challenges and illnesses of childhood is what drew Dr. Anderson to pediatrics. “It is a true joy," he smiles, "to watch children develop from childhood into successful young adults.”
A graduate of Furman University, Dr. Anderson completed medical school in 2002 at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He moved to Winston-Salem for residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center (2005) and was Chief Resident from 2005-2006. He joined Robinhood Pediatrics in 2006. Despite his University of Louisville education, Dr. Anderson “bleeds blue” and is a passionate University of Kentucky basketball fan. The only way he wears a Tar Heel shirt? – if the Cats have lost to the Heels in their annual match up. (And if Dr. Latta is wearing Kentucky Blue, then the Wildcats triumphed). Dr. Anderson, along with his wife and three children, is actively involved in their church and enjoys youth sports and gardening.
